After 10 years in the industry as a former salon/spa manager for a busy downtown salon, Allison's lifelong dream finally came to reality when Luxe Spa opened their doors in February 2010. Allison manages all of the day to day operations at the spa and she specializes in customer care and service. Allison also finds time in her busy schedule to teach in the Spa Management Program at Algonquin College. Her passion, drive, and enthusiasm for her work is what makes Luxe Spa such an amazing experience!

Sylvie Canonico
Master Esthetician & Professionnal Makeup Artist
Sylvie's passion for what she does has kept her serving her clientele for the past 20 years. After she graduated from Versailles Academy, she joined Ottawa's most prestigious salon where she mastered her skills as a professional esthetician and has become one Ottawa's top makeup artist. She balances her work with education as a professor of Esthetics at La Cite Collegiale. She is pleased to welcome her existing and new clients at Luxe.

Director of Esthetics
Over 10 years experience in the industry. Specializes in all waxing services, including the brazilian wax. Certified St.Tropez spray tan technician. Educated and trained in Dermalogica product line and services.

Debbie Speirs
Artistic Director and Educator
Debbie brings with her over 20 years of experience and knowledge in the industry. Debbie is a former salon owner and specializes in color and highlights. She is the educator for the professional color line that we use and is also the educator for many of the professional product lines we carry. Debbie is the Educator for the Kerastraight Smoothing Complex for the Ottawa area.

Heather McKenzie
Master Stylist & Color Technician
Master Hairstylist and Colour Technician with over 20 years in the industry. Heather is a former salon owner and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise. She is the Educator/Trainer for the Professional Colour Line that we use and she specializes in Wedding and Special Events Styling such as Updos, Curls, and HotRollers. Heather is also one of the Educators and experts in the KeraStraight Smoothing Complex.

Vince Canonico
Master Hairstylist
Vince is very pleased to join the amazing team at Luxe Grand Salon and Spa. He has over 25 years of experience in the industry as a hairstylist. Working at one of Ottawa's most prestigious salon for the past 29 years, Vince has mastered the art of hairstyling, customer service and education. Trained as a licensed hairstylist at Algonquin College in the 1980's, Vince also continued his education at the Sebastian Academy in California in the 90s. Vince keeps current with trade shows in Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto and New York City. He would love to welcome you to Luxe Grand Salon and Spa and looks forward to serving you.

Studied at Algonquin college under Revlonissimo Hair Instructors and Educators. Performs all hair services including modern cuts, colors, hi-lites, and styles. Also trained in Schwarzkopf, Tigi, Joico, and Wella.

Samantha's Updos and Wedding hairstyles were recently featured on Roger's Daytime television and the New R.O. Samantha loves working with long hair and creating long layered looks with her clients.

Meghan is our very talented and creative Professional Make-Up Artist. Meghan specializes in Wedding, Photography and Graduation Make-Up. Her Make-Up services have also been showcased on Roger's Daytime and the New R.O. Meghan enjoys taking care of large bridal parties and she is wonderful at educating clients about Make-Up application and artistry. Meghan is at Luxe Spa every Saturday, and will also travel to your venue or location on the day of your special event to provide services! Meghan can work with you to create a special and unique look on the day of your occasion or for just a fun night out on the town!

Melissa has been in the Esthetics Industry for 11 years and is one of our Spa Directors. Melissa specializes in waxing and sugaring hair removal. Melissa is highly skilled and has taken many courses over the years to ensure that she is up to date with all of the latest techniques and trends. Melissa particularly enjoys offering her clients extra long leg and foot massages with their Spa Pedicure and often finishes the service to find them drifted off fast asleep in the Pedicure chair. Always the sign of a relaxing and amazing Pedicure! Melissa's utmost professionalism and extensive knowledge of the Industry makes an appointment with her a truly enjoyable experience!
