Luxe Spa Ottawa Policies
Arrival For Appointment:

We recommend that you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to ensure a leisurely introduction to our Spa. Should you arrive late, in consideration for our next guest, your treatment must still end as scheduled in order to not inconvenience or delay the next client.

Gratuities:

Gratuities are completely at your discretion. We do provide envelopes for you to use at the front desk if you wish to leave the gratuity at reception. Generally speaking, a gratuity of 15% is standard for a service well done.

Cell Phones:

We ask you to kindly turn your cell phones or any other electronic devices to silent during your stay with us.

Children In The Spa:

In order to preserve our tranquil Spa atmosphere we ask that you not bring your child/ children with you to your appointment. This can be a distraction for other clients receiving services. However, if you would like to make an appointment for a child's cut we ask that you call ahead and we are more than happy to book your child in at a time when no other tranquil services are being done.

Can I Add On Services On The Day Of My Appointment?

Absolutely, providing there is enough time available before the next booking arrives. Please feel free to inquire with your service-provider or at the front desk and we will always do our best to accommodate additional services!

Spa Comfort:

Please feel free to communicate your wishes openly with your service provider. We are more than happy to adjust anything from the massage pressure to the room temperature or music level to suit your needs! Just ask!

What Should I Wear?

We provide a plush robe for multiple service bookings or upon request. For St. Tropez Spray Tan sessions we highly recommend you come to your appointment in dark loose clothing in order to minimize any transfer or residue onto your clothing after the session.

Do You Offer Couples Massages or Multiple Bookings Rooms?

Yes! We have a very large room where we are able to do couples massages or even double facials if you want to come in with a friend! Our Large Pedicure area can accommodate 4 Pedicures at the same time and our large Manicure Bar can also accommodate 4 Manicures at once! Also...inquire about our group discount rates when booking.

Do I Have To Chat With My Service Provider?

Not at all. Our goal is to make you feel completely relaxed and rejuvinated throughout your service. Feel free to close your eyes and drift away during our luxurious Pedicure, or read a magazine if you'd prefer. However, if you'd like to chat our friendly and courteous staff are always here to listen.

It Is My First Time Having A Skin Care Treatment, What Should I Expect?

Our Dermalogica Skin Care Treatments are uniquely customized to your specific skin care needs. Your Skin Care Therapist will complete a full consultation with you prior to beginning the service. We want to fully understand and address your skin care goals, and have a wide array of products to suit every type of skin. All of our Skin Care Treatments will include a relaxing neck, shoulder, hand and arm massage, and your Skin Care Therapist will never leave you unattended in the room during the service. Each service is approximately 1 1/2 hours in duration. Enjoy!
